Day 1: Nairobi – Meru National Park.

The Kenya tour safari departs Nairobi early in the morning after pick up, briefing, and introduction to your safari driver guide. We take the best route via Nyeri, Nanyuki then Meru… First stopover at Nanyuki equator line then drives further to arrive at Murera gate at noon. Registration and a short game drive en route to Ikweta safari camp or similar for lunch and a little siesta.

Meru National Park is wild and beautiful, intact in the wilderness that is less visited and we will enjoy an evening game drive in search of the great wildlife that calls it home. The topography and landscape provide breathtaking views of mountain ranges and views of Mount Kenya. With great first-day safari memories return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Safari Meru National Park.

Meru National Park is a former home of Joy and George Adamson and their story of Elsa the lioness. The park is rich in wild animals and bird watching in its riverine habitats. We enjoy the game viewing as well as visiting famous destinations such as Adamson’s Falls, the grave of Elsa the Lion, and the Rhino Sanctuary. Other sights of the day include the elephants, gravy zebra, reticulated giraffe, lion, cheetahs, leopard, hartebeest, Hippos, crocodiles, and buffalos among others. The day will end with a thrilling Kenya tour safari experience, return to the camp for dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Meru National Park – Samburu National Reserve.

Early morning game drives in this luxuriant jungle before breakfast, witness the sunrise, and enjoy a thrilling game viewing. Return to the tented camp for a full breakfast, check out, and drive to Samburu National Reserve via Isiolo town. Kenya tour safari takes us to Samburu arriving in time for a hot lunch and a little siesta or to enjoy the lodge facilities.

Evening we are scheduled to enjoy an evening game drive as we explore and discover the beauty of Samburu National Reserve. Here the Samburu special five are in abundance plus other wildlife species that call Samburu a home. Enjoy the game viewing till you witness the sunset, with great safari memories return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Safari Experience Samburu National Reserve.

Samburu National Reserve allows for great wildlife viewing, bird watching, and cultural tours to interact with the local Samburu people. Kenya tour safari is scheduled for a fascinating game drive and tourists can enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing divided by a break for a hot lunch at the lodge. Alternatively, we will depart the lodge with packed picnic lunches for a full day of game viewing.

The sightseeing of the day; gravy zebra, elephants, cheetahs, antelopes, baise Oryx, reticulate giraffe, leopard, buffalos, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, hyena, and gazelles among other wild animals. Late evening return to your accommodation property for an optional activity, dinner, and overnight.

Day 5: Samburu National Reserve – Nairobi.

Our Kenya tour safari is not complete without a final game viewing in Samburu National Reserve as we search for the nocturnal animals. We will have at least 2 hours of game search, witness the sunrise, and take the best morning pictures. Later we enjoy a full breakfast, check out, and leave the Samburu area for Nairobi. We again visit the Nanyuki equator line, Karatina market, and Sagana en route and stopover for a hot lunch on the main highway. We arrive at Nairobi in the late afternoon or early evening for a drop-off at the Nairobi hotel or transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a flight to other safari destinations.
