Day 1: Arusha – Machame Gate – Machame Camp.
Your adventure begins with a drive from Arusha to Machame Gate, where registration and preparations take place. The trek starts through lush rainforest, with towering trees and vibrant birdlife. After 5–7 hours of trekking, you arrive at Machame Camp (3,000m), where dinner and overnight rest await. This first day sets the tone for your journey to the Mount Kilimanjaro summit.

Day 2: Machame Camp – Shira Caves
The trail ascends steeply out of the forest into moorland, offering panoramic views of Shira Plateau. Trekkers cross ridges and valleys before reaching Shira Caves Camp (3,840m). Day 3: Shira Caves – Barranco Camp

Day 6: Barafu Camp – Summit Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp
Summit day begins around midnight, with a challenging trek up steep scree slopes to Stella Point (5,739m). From here, you continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the true Mount Kilimanjaro summit and the highest point in Africa. After celebrating at the peak, you descend to Mweka Camp (3,100m) for well‑earned rest.
