A welcome cup of freshly brewed Kenyan tea sets the tone for the day.

Guided Tea Tour.

The highlight of the visit is a guided walk through the tea plantations. Guests learn about the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of tea, with opportunities to see workers tending the fields. The tour explains how Kenya’s climate and soil contribute to producing some of the world’s finest tea.

Forest Walk & Nature Experience.

After exploring the tea fields, guests are led into the nearby indigenous forest. This tranquil walk reveals towering fig trees, colourful birdlife, and occasional sightings of colobus monkeys. The guide explains the ecological importance of the forest and its role in maintaining the balance of the local environment.

Traditional Lunch.

A freshly prepared, home-style Kenyan lunch is served in the farmhouse gardens. The menu often features seasonal vegetables, local dishes, and of course, plenty of tea. Guests enjoy a relaxed meal while soaking in the peaceful countryside atmosphere.

Afternoon Relaxation & Return.

After lunch, there is time to stroll through the gardens, take photographs of the scenic landscapes, or simply relax with another cup of tea. By mid-afternoon, guests depart Tigoni and return to Nairobi, enriched with memories of Kenya’s tea culture and countryside charm.
